Planetside 2 (PS2)

MERC Gaming Group plays as the outfit Mercenaries [MERC] on the Terran Republic (TR) on the Connery server.

Make sure to check out the general rules set here first.

Specific to PS2, here are the rules you need to follow:

1. Act maturely.

Disagreements happen between members and other players, if you cannot resolve yourself please find a leader/officer on Teamspeak (TS) or PM one of us on the forums.

Do not harass or be inflammatory to other players on /yell or on public forums. Your words reflect on MercGG as a whole.

If you are playing a different faction the TR during non-ops, it is requested that you are not in the TR channel. If you wish to be in the TR channel as VS or NC, first confirm with everyone in the channel if it is okay for you to do so.. Regardless, please do not gloat if you do kill a fellow MERC unless you are good friends with the player.


2. Operations

If you are playing PS2 during our set operation times, you need to be playing with us on TR, and on our TS.

During operations we ask for regular chatter to be reduced on TS. As well, when 'Battle comms' or 'Clear comms' are requested, members are asked to cut off all discussions until the information or orders have been relayed.

During operations, our teamwork is essential and that means following orders of whoever is leading at the moment. Please respect the leader's decisions, even if you disagree, so that we can operate as a squad/platoon much more effectively.

If you are streaming during operations, please put a minimum of 5 minutes, recommend 10+ minutes, of delay on your stream to prevent stream sniping.


3. Recruitment & Inactivity

We are an age 18+ group, but for in game we also require your character to be BR 25+. We wish to have active, interested members in the game.

After 30 days of inactivity, we remove members from the outfit. If you have been removed from the PS2 outfit, you are still a MercGG member and you can get invited back to the MERC outfit immediately upon your return.
