    Greetings All,

    Name(s):
    AtomicHotdogNZ

    Age 18+?
    Yes

    Access to Teamspeak?
    Yes

Joined us on TS @ ts.theterranalliance.com previously?
No, but I’ll get on that. [Edit: have joined the TS server]

What game(s) are you interested in joining up with MercGG for?
    Planetside 2

What is your level or rank in this game?
    BR10

    Any alternate characters?
Yes, AtomicHotdogZA, BR105 (TR), on the EU (Miller) server.

Where did you hear about us, or why did you want to join?
Commander Cyrious’s YouTube channel mostly. Looking to get back into PS2. Also looking for a like-minded outfit that play in an organised fashion.

Anything else you wish to inform us of?
A few years back I moved across the world (South Africa to New Zealand). The Miller server ping (>500), compounded with low population (given the 12hr time-zone difference), rendered PS2 unplayable.
Not wanting to lose a ton of progress (700+ hours playtime), I requested a server transfer which Daybreak promptly declined. I replied that I was happy to pay for a one-time transfer, they still said no, oh well.
Tried rolling a new character on the Briggs server. At the time, the server had single digit populations (even on weekends) leaving much to be desired.
With a heavy heart I hung up the rifle. With PS2 undergoing a bit of a resurgence lately, I decided to bite the bullet and roll a new TR soldier on the Connery server.

During my time on the Miller server, I joined a fairly active outfit that ran regular ops nights. A jovial bunch that played tactically/casually.
I rose up the proverbial ranks and reached a level where I was actively leading squads and mentoring new outfit members on squad play and game mechanics. Admittedly I’m a tad rusty (inactive for about 2.5 years) looking at a few YouTube channels, many game mechanics have changed.

A note on the MERC ops nights. Given in the time-zone difference, 18:00 PST on a Friday evening will be 13:00 Saturday afternoon NZ time. So realistically I’d be able to join those. The Wednesday evening ones are out unfortunately.

    Tell us a joke!
A slice of apple pie is $2.50 in Jamaica and $3.00 in the Bahamas. These are the pie rates of the Caribbean.

Hi Atomic, good to see you out on Friday’s op!

Once you get BR25, try to make it out another op and I think you should be good for an invite.

      Cheers,
      Lep
